issued by the CSO today show that overseas visitor numbers to Ireland
increased by +7% for the first quarter of 2014. Welcoming the figures,
Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, said: “I
am delighted to see an increase in overseas visitor numbers of +7% for
the three-month period January-March 2014, with growth recorded from all
of our market areas around the world. I particularly welcome the
