New Zealand Govt. takes stringent measures to protect the environment

Last month, 53 elderly American tourists had to stay in a conventional Maori meeting house as US-Auckland flight was delayed and good city hotels were full. Visitors were served biscuits with a cup of tea before they were allotted the rooms. The rooms had mattresses on the floor along with wood carvings on the wall.
