The Canadian hotel industry reported positive results in the three key performance metrics for the week of 22-28 January 2012, according to data from STR. In year-over-year measurements, the Canadian hotel industry’s occupancy ended the week with a 3.8-percent increase to 56.7 percent, its average daily rate rose 3.3 percent to CAD$125.32 and its revenue per available room was up 7.2 percent to CAD$71.06.
