The California Lodging Industry Association and Independent Lodging Industry Association have signed up more than 1,000 hotels to Global Hotel Exchange this week, prior to the official launch of GHX, which was postponed from January 2012 to March 2012 because of massive worldwide signups and demand.Global Hotel Exchange (globalhotelexchange.com) a new online travel agency model offering cost-free distribution to hotels facing ever-rising commissions and fees, has already signed thousands of hotels in advance of its launch. CLIA and ILIA are joining an already large inventory base, and will continue to add more hotels in the near future.
