LAN expands its network in South East Asia and Oceania

LAN Airlines SA has signed a bilateral interline agreement with a subsidiary of Qantas in Australia, Jetstar Airways. Through this agreement, users of the LAN network of destinations may qualify for increased connectivity offered by the Australian airline, both within Australia and New Zealand, and on international routes between the countries of Oceania and Southeast Asia.

Armando Valdivieso, CEO Passenger LAN Airlines said: "This agreement expands our network of destinations in Oceania, Asia and Southeast Asia and connects passengers with attractive points, adding more value to the tourist experience. A young man who travels in Asia may take off with LAN Airlines from Santiago to Auckland and / or Sydney and then from those cities, he can visit Indonesia, Thailand and Japan, among others", said Armando Valdivieso, CEO Passenger LAN.
