Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was listed as one of the most social airports in the world by Facebook. Hartsfield-Jackson was the second-most-popular airport that people checked into between August and November, according to Facebook.
“We are honored that Facebook has rated us the second-most-social airport,” Aviation General Manager Louis Miller said. “We feel that social media are effective tools to communicate with and engage our customers on a new level.”
Facebook compiled the list of the top 25 airports in the world based on people’s check-ins via Facebook or a third-party location application.
