On Saturday, a youth from Kochi died in KundaraChola waterfall.In December, a youth from Ottapalam died and another was seriously injured at Seetharkundu viewpoint.In January, two tourists from Tamil Nadu drowned in the Karapara river near Vannathi Bridge.
