Cornwall asks tourists to stay away amid rising COVID-19 cases

Cornwall has asked tourists to stay away from the county unless they have pre-booked a trip because of a huge spike in Covid-19 cases. As per the latest report, Cornwall has recorded 770 cases per 100,000 people that is double the previous week’s figure. The UK also recorded 174 new Covid-related deaths on Tuesday – the highest figure since March.
