Tokyo gets 130 hotels in a year and 31.2 million tourists ahead of 2020 Olympic Games

Tokyo is getting busy with unprecedented hotel construction boom. The Urban Research Institute Corporation says there are about 130 hotels opened in the Japanese capital in 2018 alone. Another 190 are planning to open their doors by the time the city hosts the Games.
