Repetitive attacks, numerous labour strikes and flooding caused the ever beautiful Paris to experience a gradual decline in the number of foreign tourists.
A recent report issued in August by the regional tourism office revealed the exact figures for the first half of 2016. According to the report, Paris experienced a drop in the number of Japanese, Russian and Chinese tourists. Tourism to Paris represents almost 7% of the entire economy of France.
