Tourism growing strongly in Serbia; Belgrade attracts more foreign tourists than ever

Serbia gets back into focus – not only by the continuing flow of refugees. Even in tourism, the Balkan country is rising in the favour of foreign visitors. Last year, the number of wealthy overnight guests from Europe and elsewhere increased by eleven per cent. Therefore new hotels are needed – especially in the busy capital city of Belgrade, where nearly half of all foreign guests stayed.
