Dubai opens its first solar powered park

In keeping with its vision of an environmentally friendly destination, its perspective for 2020, Dubai Municipality has completed its first trial to operate environmentally friendly parks. The park will reduce energy consumption by 30 percent and will operate independently from the water and electricity authority. The park will generate energy from the sun with the use of solar panels and will set an example of a true Eco Park.
