Ho Chi Minh City received more than 300,000 foreign visitors in May, an increase of 3.7 percent over the same period last year.
The municipal People’s Committee said the latest figure brought the total number of visitors from January to May to 1.85 million — a rise of 5 percent year-on-year, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
The committee attributed the outcomes to a number of measures employed by the government to boost visitor numbers this year.
