Northampton station to open no later than 12 January

Network Rail and London Midland have confirmed that the new £20 million station will open no later than Monday 12 January.

Covering 2,500 square metres, the new building is twice the size of the old station. Shortly after the station opens more features will be added including a Starbucks, a Café Republic and a WHSmith store as well as an Enterprise car rental outlet.
