c Int’l of funding non-airport projects, urges FAA to check

united airlinesUnited Airlines has filed a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration demanding to know how billions of dollars in “illogical” fees from Newark Liberty International Airport are spent on projects outside the airport and on firefighting overtime. The complaint was filed Wednesday. United is the busiest carrier at Newark, operating one of its biggest hubs at the New Jersey airport.
