Thailand’s annual shopping extravaganza opens to great fanfare

Thailand opened its doors to this world this month for the start of the annual Amazing Thailand Grand Sale. This three-month shopping extravaganza lasts from 15 June to 30 September, 2014, and will see over 15,000 establishments in seven of Thailand’s most important tourism cities taking part.
Shoppers will be able to find amazing bargains and enjoy great discounts on a huge range of goods. The Grand Sale is aimed at boosting tourism and visitor expenditure while enhancing the image of Thailand as a major shopping destination.
