The Giles Government is connecting the Territory with millions of dollars allocated in Budget 2014 for infrastructure on the Tiwi Islands.
“Infrastructure is the key enabler of economic growth and the Country Liberals are proud to be building the transport links necessary for the development of Northern Australia,” Chief Minister Adam Giles said.
“$2 million has been allocated in Budget 2014 to upgrade the barge landing at Wurrumiyanga, providing an area for the public distribution of freight arrivals, room for bulk storage and a shed.
