On Monday, May 26, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined Heritage Trust volunteers, scouting groups, and members of the Mount Sinai community to honor Memorial Day at Heritage Park. The annual celebration, known as Parade of Flags, is a display of more than 100 flags, flown in honor of the growing history of the United States.
“I would like to thank the Mount Sinai Heritage Trust for recognizing the significance of this important holiday,” said Legislator Anker. “The Parade of Flags is a beautiful display of patriotism and pride within our community.”
