North America’s largest private rail service kicked off its 2014 season today, as the luxury Rocky Mountaineer left its station in Vancouver, B.C., bound for the Canadian Rockies. This season marks an important milestone in Rocky Mountaineer’s growth story with several major announcements being made this year:

The company has launched its newest route, Coastal Passage, connecting Seattle, WA to the Rockies with 24 departures, offering more flexibility to plan a pre or post Alaskan cruise from the Port of Seattle.
