A powerful earthquake struck off at the South Pacific nation of Papua New Guinea. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, but a tsunami warning was in effect. according to the seismologists, it is more than active than usual.
the past week experienced some tremors which included a hit of about 7.3 magnitude on April 11.
However, no danage has been reported so far.
