Met Éireann has upgraded the ‘ORANGE ALERT’ storm warning issued for the West Ireland to the entire country. The worst of the weather is expected to batter the coast around 3am.
Although the alert has been issued for until 9pm tomorrow, it could yet be extended. A gale warning’s also in place for coastal waters.
Winds gusting up to 130km/h will begin to batter the coast tonight.
