2nd State Tourism Office to Get Tourism’s Top Accreditation: Louisiana’s Office of Tourism


Louisiana Office of TourismNebraska’s state tourism office declared its accreditation. Louisiana’s Office of Tourism is the second state tourism office to get the industry’s top accreditation, says Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne. The accreditation comes from the Washington, D.C. based Destination Marketing Association International. The association’s program recognizes tourism and convention bureaus for resourceful work. It has standards in 16 areas for instance marketing, technology, visitor services and destination development.
