Phuket residents want power to people

PHUKET: In a surprising move that may take some aback, the Phuket Tourist Association has called on Thailand’s government to give ”power to the people”.

According to the PTA, which represents most of the Thai holiday island’s tourism-related groups, the protests throughout Thailand are justified.
