International visitors to face Cigarette confiscation star

Today marks the start of tighter tobacco duty free allowances, with international visitors forced to surrender their cigarettes or pay up to $100 duty, warns peak advocacy group Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF).
 
International passengers will only be allowed to bring in 50 duty free cigarettes each, down from 250, an 80 per cent reduction.
