Canada’s hotel industry reported mixed results in the three key performance metrics for the week of 8-14 July 2012, according to data from STR. In year-over-year measurements, the country’s hotel occupancy ended the week virtually flat with a 0.8-percent increase to 75.7 percent, its average daily rate was up 6.1 percent to CAD$144.10 and its revenue per available room increased 6.8 percent to CAD$109.02.
