London 2012 Pharmacy Services win bronze at the inaugural Podium Awards

London 2012 Pharmacy Services have been recognised for their design and delivery of a new national education programme for pharmacists. The team has been awarded a bronze medal in the Outstanding Learning category at the inaugural Podium Awards. The awards recognise activity that has used the power of the 2012 Games to inspire learning in any part of the education sector or in the wider community.

Designed with the aim of improving knowledge and understanding of sports medicine, the bronze medal-winning programme was developed for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. It involved collaboration between two organisations with primary interests in sport, health and education; the LOCOG Pharmacy Clinical Services and the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE).
