Frontier Airlines reported preliminary traffic results for February 2012. Frontier’s traffic increased 8%, to 0.9 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while capacity was slightly increased, at 1.1 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Frontier served 1.0 million passengers in February, a 4% increase from February 2011. For the month, Frontier had a load factor of 82% compared to 77% in the same month last year. It was Frontier’s eighth consecutive record monthly load factor.
