Due to joining the European Union’s Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS), Estonian Air adds to air fares 50 cents as from 28 February. The ETS tax is shown separately as a different tax. The amount of the tax will be reviewed every three months and re-calculated in a transparent manner. The rate depends on the price of the emission credits and flown passengers.
