The government has suggested establishing a national-level organisation to promote cruise tourism and exhibit the country’s attractions abroad. According to the new policy, the National Cruise Tourism Board would be established to coordinate efforts and connect India’s attractions with cruise tourism, as well as to attract investment and enable the construction of cruise ports, infrastructure, and services.
