While giving an example of the tourism revival of Jamaica post COVID, Minister of Tourism Hon. Edmund Bartlett, said that during the tough times of pandemic, the insurance sector was called on board with a mission to act as a safety valve in reassuring the tourists that they had the coverage if anything happened when they reach the spot. He stated that this was essential to the early revival of tourism.
