Roy’s career in hotel management started with an internship at Mount Nelson. He joined The Bay Hotel as assistant general manager in 1989, before being promoted to general manager in 1994. During this time he completed the Professional Development Program (PDP) in Strategic General Management at Cornell University in the USA.
