The Maldives likely to create air bubble with India

The Maldives is opening its international tourism on July 15 after four months of lockdown resulting from corona virus pandemic. India would possibly establish an air bubble or air travel bridge. The Maldives government has reached out to the Indian government for making a formal request and an agreement would probably be reached in another two-three days.

Air bubbles or air travel bridges are known as a common corridor where two countries allow travelling without imposing of restrictions.
