Cambodian border temple – A major hit among Japanese tourists


Cambodian border templeJapanese tourists are flocking in huge numbers to the ancient cliff-top temple which the Cambodians and Thai people fought for more than a century. Visitors from Japan are the largest number of overseas visitors at the site, as per the latest statistics. According to Cambodia’s state-run Preah Vihear Authority, out of the 23,823 foreign tourists who visited the UNESCO World Heritage site last year, 8,306 were Japanese.
