Minister John Halligan lends a hand to boost tourism from Brazil

He attended the ‘greening’ of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, which took part of Tourism Ireland's annual Global Greening initiative. Minister of State for Training, Skills and Innovation, John Halligan TD, has been visiting Brazil, as part of a ‘Promote Ireland’ programme around St Patrick’s Day. The minister’s busy schedule included attending the ‘Greening’ of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro – which joined Tourism Ireland’s Global Greening initiative once again this year, to celebrate the island of Ireland and St Patrick.
