A transatlantic passenger jet aircraft of the United Airlines made an emergency landing at Shannon Airport following its windscreen crack over the Irish Sea.
United Airlines flight UA-56 was travelling to Newark from Paris in the US during that point of time. It was carrying 188 passengers as well as crew members on board.
