Skywalks at Territory national parks to offer vintage view to tourists


skywalk at Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park.Tourists will get a bird’s eye view of spectacular Outback scenery under a $20 million initiative to build adventure experiences, including skywalks, at Territory national parks.
Concept plans have already been revealed for a skywalk at Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park.
The Nitmiluk aerial experience would operate year-round, with Wet Season access via the existing jet boat operation.
Minister for Parks and Wildlife Bess Price said the project would create a world-class visitor experience, generating jobs and more tourist revenue for local businesses at Nitmiluk which attracts almost 250,000 visitors a year.
