Josefine Schlumberger, a 21-year-old student from the Baden wine region, has been crowned the new German Wine Queen by the German Wine Institute during a live television broadcast.
In the coming year, the young wine queen will act as an ambassador for German wine at around 200 engagements in Germany and abroad. She will have the support of the two wine princesses, Caroline Guthier from the Hessische Bergstrasse region and Katharina Fladung from the Rheingau.
