An
overnight fire at Rome’s busy Fiumicino airport threw life out of
gear disrupting operations there which caused cancellation of over 175
flights and delay of dozen more flights. The incident which occurred on
Thursday caused inconvenience to thousands of passengers stranding them,
as per media reports.The Rome airport, which is a hub for Italian carrier Alitalia, is Italy’s busiest airport serving about 130,000 passengers a day.
