Following an earthquake, a small tsunami hit a group of Japanese islands in the Pacific early on Sunday. However, no damage or injuries have been reported yet as per official and news reports.
The earthquake which was of 5.7 magnitude struck at 1: 50 am (1650 GMT Saturday) some 456 kilometres (283 miles) south of Tokyo, the US Geological Survey said.
