Tourism Ireland: Highlighting the rich history and heritage of the Sunny South East!

Some 1.5 million readers of The Telegraph in Britain have been reading all about the rich history and heritage of the South East.

Tourism Ireland arranged for the article – which appeared under the headline “A treasure trove of history” – to appear in the travel section of a recent edition of The Telegraph. It describes the many towns and villages of Co Wexford “that are as charming as they are fascinating”; Waterford and its “three amazing museums known as the Waterford Treasures”; as well as Kilkenny, “Ireland’s medieval capital”.
