Over 100 Tourists and pilgrims trapped in Nepal

earthquakeNearly 125 tourists and pilgrims from India are stranded in Nepal after a high-magnitude earthquake struck the nation.

Nepal’s deputy Prime Minister, Bamdev Gautam, has declared a state of emergency and appealed for humanitarian assistance across the region as death toll from 7.8-magnitude earthquake nears 1,500.

The earthquake near Kathmandu triggered avalanches in Mount Everest claiming 13 lives.
