Super-tides reach two-decade high in Wales

Natural Resources Wales has issued warnings of “dangerous conditions” that could witness tides breaching sea and river defences.

Till last reports came in there were 10 flood alerts in place for coastlines in north, mid and south Wales, though roads that were closed due to the waves have now reopened.

Spring tides reached the peak of an 18-and-a-half year cycle on Saturday, with south Wales likely to be most affected.
