Tourist spending in UK likely to scale record heights in 2015

VisitBritain forecasts that overseas visitors spending are expected to reach £22bn in 2015 and will likely top out at £21.3bn in 2014, with the number of visitors likely to grow to 35.1m.


In 2010, UK witnessed 29.8 million visitors, though that was before worldwide seductiveness in Britain strike new heights with a matrimony of Prince William and a Duchess of Cambridge in 2011, and a London Olympics and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
