The
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will be joined by UN
Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, U.S.
Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, FAA Administrator
Michael Huerta, and many other senior U.S. and international officials
this coming Monday, 8 December, for a special ceremony in the Grand
Ballroom of Chicago’s Hilton hotel commemorating the drafting and
signing there of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago
Convention) in 1944. Heads of many major international aviation
