Financial crisis in Russia hurts tourism in Israel

Russian tourists accounted for the second highest revenue earner for the Israel tourism industry after the travelers from United States. The recent fiscal crisis is hurting the Israel economy as the number of Russian tourists is declining regularly. The Israeli Tourism Ministry has cautiously estimated that the number of tourists coming from Russia is set to decline by 20%, compared to 2014.
