Moody’s Investors Service Gives MIA High Marks

Miami AirportMoody’s Investors Service, one of America’s leading bond rating agencies, provided welcome financial news to MIA last week, assigning an “A2” rating and a stable outlook to the Miami-Dade Aviation Department’s Series 2014 aviation revenue refunding bonds. This marks the second time in 2014 that Moody’s has affirmed MIA’s strong financial health and comes just days after Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services issued similar ratings.
