Mr Baird and Member for Blue Mountains Roza Sage toured the newly-refurbished hotel, which closed its doors to undergo a major refurbishment in early 2013.
Mr Baird said the reopening of the iconic hotel would attract local and international visitors and would provide a welcome boost to Blue Mountains tourism and the local community.
“The Hydro Majestic is one of the world’s most beautiful hotels in one of the world’s most breathtaking locations, perched above the world-heritage listed Blue Mountains,” he said.
