World Cup Trophy Visits MIA As Airport Prepares To Welcome Soccer Fans Traveling To Brazil

Miami AirportThe FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour touched down at MIA today, marking one of the final stops on the 90-nation tour before the trophy flies south to its final destination – Brazil – next week. Miami-Dade Aviation Director Emilio T. González joined Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez and other local officials to welcome the trophy to MIA before it makes stops in two other U.S. cities and continues on to Rio de Janeiro.
