Royal Jordanian is closely monitoring the situation in Libya

Royal Jordanian is closely monitoring the situation in Libya following news that Jordan’s ambassador to Libya, Fawaz Al Etan, was kidnapped Tuesday morning.

The airline will take the appropriate decision in regard to its operations to Libya. RJ is in touch with the concerned parties in Jordan and Libya, following up on all developments in this regard, in order to take a decision regarding its flights to Tripoli, Benghazi and Misrata.

Today’s scheduled flight to Tripoli was cancelled.
