Meeting room hire helped drive up profits for Newcastle’s hoteliers in March, according to the latest HotStats results.Hotels in the north-east England city experienced year-on-year increases across all key performance indicators for the month, with the total revenue per available room (TRevPAR) increasing by 6.9 per cent. Gross operating profit per available room (GOPPAR) also soared by 6.5 per cent.
